Average monthly salary of hired workers rises 11.7% in Azerbaijan

The average monthly salary of hired workers in Azerbaijan rose by 11.7% to AZN 339.6, in January-March, 2011, compared to a year ago, The State Statistical Committee reported.

The SSC says the average monthly salary of hired workers made AZN 1 056.3 in oil sector, AZN 319.3 – in non-oil sector, AZN 280.6 – in state sector and AZN 439 – in private sector.

The average monthly salary of external workers made AZN 179.5, salary on contracted workers made AZN 306.5.
