Azerbaijan starts to produce cars with an automatic transmission

Nakhchivan Car Plant will assemble 1000-1500 cars, this year, head of sale and marketing department Tamerlan Abdullazadeh said.

According to him, 500 Lifan cars have ben assembled in 2010: "These are NAZ-Lifan 320, NAZ-Lifan 520, NAZ-Lifan 520i and NAZ-Lifan 620 models. Presently, the cars with an mechanical transmission are being assembled at the plant. We’ll start to assemble the cars for heavy road conditions, from next year".
