SOCAR improves gas supply to Absheron region

Gas has been supplied to the Gobustan settlement for the first time as part of expanding the gas distribution system of the Absheron region, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) said. The Azerigas Production Association owned by the SOCAR is engaged in gas distribution in Azerbaijan.

According to the information a gas pipeline was laid from the gas distribution station Pirekeshkul with length of 9,600 meters within gas supply to the Gobustan settlement.

Also as part of providing subscribers with gas 18,500 meters of intra-settlement gas pipelines of various diameters were laid, 275 gas meters were installed and 123 private buildings were provided with gas.
