"Azerbaijani operators must continue reducing roaming tariffs"

Azerbaijani mobile operators slightly reduced roaming tariffs by 20-25 percent, Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov  said.

Minister said that the operators are well aware that there are a number of countries, where the tariffs for calls are still at a high level. They should be also reduced.

"The work in this direction will be continued until the first half of the year due to the fact that this work requires close relationship with foreign operators," Abbasov said.

The Regional Commonwealth of Communications pays special attention to the issue of reducing the possible roaming tariffs. The working group will negotiate directly to reduce roaming tariffs provided by mobile operators.
