Azerbaijan, ADB discuss cooperation plans

Finance Minister of Azerbaijan Samir SHarifov met Tuesday with new Asian Development Bank's country director for Azerbaijan Olly Norojono.

The meeting discussed present state of Azerbaijan-ADB relations including future cooperation plans.

Norojono pointed out the ADB is implementing projects in the energy, transport and other fields.

He said ADB is interested in finance, transport and energy projects.

The bank is ready to present five regional technical assistance projects in Azerbaijan. ADB is set to prepare a business strategy plan.

Sharifov expressed hope that ADB-Azerbaijan relations would strengthen during Norojono's tenure.
