Azerbaijan and Turkish company expected to reach drone aircraft deal

Azerbaijan and Turkey’s TAI (Turkish Aerospace Industries) are expected to sign a deal on purchase and sale of drone aircraft Turna, defense sources told APA. Azerbaijan has already learned about the tactic-technical features of this aircraft. There are no details about the number of drone aircrafts Azerbaijan purchases from TAI.

“These drone aircrafts are the TAI’s special products and are used by the Turkish armed forces”, Turkey’s deputy minister of defense industry Ismail Tohumcu told APA. He said following Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan also showed interest to these aircrafts and started discussions on purchase and sale.
