President of Dutch Senate meets SOCAR management

First Vice-President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Khoshbakht Yusifzade and company management met with visiting President of the Dutch Senate Rene van der Linden. Yusifzade pointed bilateral relations between the two countries are based on the solid friendship. He expressed hope that Linden`s visit would help expand the relationship.

SOCAR Vice-President briefed President of Dutch Senate on the history of the oil industry in Azerbaijan. He touched upon the activity of Netherlands' Shell company in Azerbaijan.

Rene van der Linden pointed out Netherlands is interested in developing bilateral ties with Azerbaijan. SOCAR Vice-President for refining David Mammadov told of the progress achieved to develop petrochemical complex.

Present at the meeting were SOCAR Vice-President for strategic development Tofig Gahramanov and Azerkimya Director General Mukhtar Babayev.
