Azerbaijan earns AZN 154 mln from goods and passenger traffic via TRACECA

Cargo and passenger traffic via the Azerbaijani section of the TRACECA corridor earned the country AZN 154.3 million in the first month of 2010, the State Statistical Committee said. Cargo traffic made up 25 million tons in goods, while the passenger traffic was 99.9 million people.

The share of the railway transport in the overall amount of cargo traffic constituted 42.1%, while motor transport 35.6% and sea transport 22.3%. Cargo traffic via the Azerbaijani section of the corridor accounts for 26.5% in the overall amount of traffic in the transport sector.
