Import of Azerbaijani goods to Turkey increased

According to TRT, high growth in imports from neighboring countries exists, in particular, the volume of imports grew by 77.7% and reached $ 3.8 billion. Exports to neighboring countries, which in the year 2000 was 5% of the total export volume of Turkey, last year rose up to 13%.

In January-April this year, exports from Turkey to Azerbaijan (in comparison with the same period last year) increased by 13,8% and amounted to 459 million USD.

According to the Turkish Committee on Foreign Trade, import of goods from Azerbaijan has also increased. During the same period of last year, it was 252 million USD, while this year, the number got up to 263 million USD.
