Azerbaijan to export gas to Syria in 2011

According to APA, Azerbaijan will start to export the gas to Syria from 2011, sasid the Syrian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Sufian al-Alaw. According to him, Syria and Turkey try to merge the pipelines and after this Azerbaijan will start to export the gas to Syria.

He also noted that, Azerbaijan and Syria have already signed the important documents. Azerbaijan plans to export 1 bln cubic meter of natural gas to Syria per year.
