The market of used cars in Baku saw unusual drop in sales in May, Participants of the Property Market Public Union said.

The rise in supply of used cars has had a negative impact on sales. The sales dropped by 1.8% in May. The prices on second hand cars remained unchanged with average totaling $15,380.
The decline in sales has caused an extension in exposure terms of cars. In May, supply of Mercedes-Benz, which has led country’s sales for three consecutive years, increased 0.4 percent holding 38.96% of the total sales. A total of 9 brands of cars constitute 82.3 percent of the supply. The remaining 17.7% is shared by 85 brands by over 20 manufacturers.
