BP spent $1.4m in Azerbaijan alone in 1st quarter of 2010 on sustainable development projects

BP said it spent around $1.36 million in Azerbaijan alone on sustainable development projects during the first quarter of 2010.
These initiatives included educational programmes, building skills and capabilities in local communities, improving access to social infrastructure in communities, supporting local enterprises through provision of access to finance and training, as well as technical assistance to public institutions, according to BP.
