Azerbaijani finance minister and ADB chief discuss development projects

Azerbaijan's Finance Minister Samir Sharifov has met with President of the Asian Development Bank Haruhiko Kuroda on the sidelines of the ADB's 43rd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors to discuss Azerbaijan-ADB cooperation, Azerbaijan's financial crisis response, macroeconomic situation in the country and other questions.

The parties agreed on ADB's financing the projects concerning improvement of water supply, sanitation, construction of roads, power transmission lines, substations in Azerbaijan.

“We are cooperating with the ADB and confident that our relations will continue to develop in the future,” Sharifov said following the meeting.
