Head of "Azerkimya" appointed

Head of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev signed decree appointing Mukhtar Babayev, who previously served as SOCAR vice-president on Ecology, head of Production Union Azerkimya. Abdullayev also appointed deputy heads to Azerkimya.

Earlier, the former state company Azerkimya has joined SOCAR as a production unit. According to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's decree signed April 22, the Azerkimya PU was incorporated into SOCAR's structure.

According to an order signed by SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev, the Kimyaelmitedgigatlahiya Institute and several other plants were subordinated to Azerkimya as facilities without the rights of legal entities.

According to the order, the Ethylene-Polyethylene Plant was established based on the Synthetic Rubber Plant's material and technical base.
