Azerbaijani cold drink producer's activity stopped

The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy & Consumer Rights under the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan has started inspection of the market of refreshment drinks on the subject of legislation observation.

The MED reports that following the check in Mahmud-Topcu K Ltd it was decided to cease manufacture and sales of its output.

Besides, the Company was imposed sanctions for violation of legislation. Among the breaches in manufacture of cold drinks “Krushon”, “Fairy-Tail of Orient”, “Baku”, “Mimino” were the ones concerning pull-dates terms of products (30 and 90 days) not conforming to standard and technical documentation, non-conformity of packing materials, lack of hygienic conformity certificate.
