The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts rise in inflation in Azerbaijan by the end of 2010.

Head of the IMF Mission to Azerbaijan Nienke Oomes said that revival of non-oil sector of Azerbaijan in 2010 and rise in international prices for raw commodities will result in rise in inflation in the country.
"Under our forecasts, inflation in 2010 will increase slightly to settle at 4 percent. It is not large change in comparison with an indicator of 2009 and will not become a serious problem,” Oomes added.
