Socar Energy Georgia (SEG) LLC, a sub-company of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), continues implementing its long-term plans to open petrol stations under SOCAR brand in Georgia.

SOCAR has reported of opening of another 3 stations in Georgia and thereby bringing their total number up to 32 stations there.
SEG is planning to launch 20 more stations in Georgia till year-end.
Mahir Mammadov, SEG President, said earlier that the company plans to increase network of petrol stations up to 60 petrol stations in Georgia by the end of 2010.
“Such number of petrol stations will allow us to control at least 17-18 percent of retail market of petroleum products in Georgia,” Mammadov said.
SOCAR is the most dynamically developing network of petrol stations in Georgia.
The company has a 51-percent stake in SEG LLC with the the rest being held by Georgian partners.
