Azerbaijan imported 115, 000 tones of grain last year

Nearly 115,000 tones of grain was purchased and brought to Azerbaijan for the State Grain Fund by the Ministry of Emergency Situations last year.
Kamaladdin Heydarov, Emergency Situations minister said 15,000 tones of wheat was sent to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic to cover autonomous republic's needs.

Heydarov also said that elevators for keeping grain were constructed.

The construction works of elevators with capacity of 100,000 tones near Baku, 60 000 tones in Gandja are nearing completion.
