Iran increases gas imports from Azerbaijan

The Islamic Republic of Iran will sign a 5-year contract with Azerbaijan to import 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually.
The contract will be signed next week.

Once the contract is signed, Iran's gas imports from Azerbaijan will increase to 19 billion cubic meters annually.

Azerbaijan's gas output will increase to 28 billion cubic meters in 2010.
