Over the nine months of 2009, Armenia's GDP declined 18.3 per cent to $2 trillion AMD, Armenian National Statistical Service said.

Armenia's economy showed some trends of stabilization, since GDP over the first 7 months fell 18.5 per cent, over the eight months - 18.4 per cent.
The biggest decline in Armenia’s economy was observed in construction industry - 53.8 per cent.
In Jan.-Sept. 2009, volume of industrial production in the country reached 459.694 billion AMD, 11.4 per cent less compared to the same period of 2008.
The decline in agriculture averaged 2.3 per cent, while in the service industry - 1.8 per cent.
