The 21st meeting of the Foreign Ministers Council of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation will be held in Baku on Oct. 22.

Increasing the organization’s efficiency, improving partnership with other international organizations, particularly with UN and EU will be discussed at the meeting.
Restoration of the observer status and sector dialogue with various countries and organizations will also be considered.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will chair the meeting.
Following the meeting, a ceremony will be held on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s handing over the chairmanship to Bulgaria.
Bulgaria will chair the organization from Nov. 1 till Apr. 30, 2010.
