23 September 2009 [11:33] - TODAY.AZ
Feasibility study of the Trans-Caspian gas pipeline will be submitted by Kazakhstan not earlier than the first quarter of next year, KazMunaiGaz national company COE Daniyar Berlibayev said.
In early September, in Orenburg forum on inter-regional cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan, Kazakh Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev said the project’s feasibility study will be completed by Kazakhstan in November 2009 and a comprehensive feasibility report for the project will be completed in January 2010.

Mynbayev assured that Kazakhstan will have legal and technological readiness of the project by early 2010.

However, Kazakhstan postponed submission of a feasibility study till the next year. "In order to develop a feasibility study, we need to understand the volume,” Berlibayev told reporters.
