The accident on the Stavropol-Tbilisi gas pipeline will not affect Georgia's gas supply.

"Georgia does not receive gas from Russia. Georgia has signed a contract on gas supplies from Azerbaijan and receives natural gas from this country, Georgian Energy Minister Alexander Khetaguri told reporters.
On Sept. 1, an accident occurred on the gas pipeline near the village of Upper Achaluk, Ingushetia. The accident caused no casualties and threat of environmental pollution.
Khetaguri said this accident will not affect Georgia as this pipeline delivers gas to Armenia.
