SOCAR paid 500 million manat in taxes in 2009

The tax payments of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) totalled 496 million manat in January-July 2009, the SOCAR official Web site said.
SOCAR tax payments were 99 million in July.

“In January-July, SOCAR assignments to the State Social Protection Fund totaled 61 million, 8 million of which was transferred in July,” the Web site said.

SOCAR is expected to assign 1.45 billion manat in taxes to the state budget in 2009.
