More than 20 million tons of Azerbaijani oil transported via BTC over 7 months

More than 20 million tons of Azerbaijani oil was exported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline in January-July 2009, Azerbaijan State Oil Company said.
Nearly 3 million tons of Azerbaijani oil was transported to Turkey’s Ceyhan port via BTC in July 2009. The Ceyhan terminal has received 91 million tons of Azerbaijani oil since the launch of BTC, that is from mid-2006 to August 1, 2009.
