Ganja-Odessa-Ganja flight to be launched to boost tourism in Azerbaijan

"Donbasaero company can launch air flights to Ganja for Azerbaijanis living in Ukraine. Ganja's delegation held talks on this topic with Donbasaero in Donetsk," head of Ukrainian representation of World Azerbaijanis' Congress Mohlat Huseynov said.

He said that major goal of this air flight is for Azerbaijani citizens living in west of the country not to cover additional 400 kilometers from Baku to Ganja.

"Moreover, it will be possible to attract Ukrainian and other citizens as tourists to western mountainous regions. It will be contribution to Azerbaijani economy," Huseynov said.

Huseynov said that price for return-tickets will be $250-300 in case the flight to Ganja is launched.

Flights are planned to be carried out once a week.

Ukrainian company Donbasaero has carried out Odessa-Baku-Odessa flight since July.
