ICT revenues grow 30-35 percent per year: Azerbaijani communication minister

“Currently, the ICT sector in Azerbaijan is second to energy sector for growth. It was expected that this trend will continue, that is, they will reach energy sector revenues within a few years  and will exceed them in 2018-2020,” he said.

"In 2008, investments in telecommunications and postal services totalled $270 million, $52.2 million of which accounts for state bodies and $218.3 million for private enterprises. ICT services saw a growth of 28.3 percent in 2008," he said.
