Azerbaijan generated nearly 10.1 billion kilowatt hour of energy in Q1, 2009

Azerenerji [country’s largest energy producer and distributor] press service said.  

Thermoelectric power stations generated 1.1 billion kilowatt hour and hydropower stations over 0.2 billion kilowatt hour.

Energy exchange with Russia, Iran, Turkey and Georgia was continued.

Nearly 10.1 billion kilowatt hour of energy was generated over the last six months. Thermoelectric power stations generated 9.1 billion and hydropower stations over 1 billion kilowatt hour of energy.
