Azerbaijan records GDP growth at 4.4%

In January-May of this year Azerbaijan's GDP grew 4.4% over the same period of 2008 hitting AZN 11.366 bln (about USD 14.14 bln).
The information is provided by Novosti-Azerbaijan referring to the report of the country's statistical committee about the major macroeconomic indicators, published Tuesday.

The GDP growth in the non-oil sector made 6.6% over the same period of 2008 against production at over AZN 5.392 bln (about USD 6.71 bln).
