Azerbaijan to attend summit on gas security of European states

The summit on "Natiral gas of European countries: security and cooperation" will be held in Sophia (Bulgaria) on April 24-25 of this year, said sources in the Ministry of Industry and Energy, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.


The heads of the European states will discuss at the summit the issues of energy security in the continent. During the summit there is a plan to sign the "corridor agreement" between the participating countries and transit states of the Nabucco project.

The summit will be attended by a delegation of Azerbaijan, headed by Minister of Industry and Energy Natik Aliyev.
