Construction companies raise volumes of works in Azerbaijan in 2009

The construction companies, operating in Azerbaijan, raised the volume of conducted works by 12.2% up to AZN 400,600,000 in January-February of 2009 as compared to the same period of the last year, report sources in the State Statistical Committee, according to Interfax-Azerbaijan.

According to the state statistical committee, in January-February of this year the construction companies conducts works on construction of new establishment and reconstruction and expansion in the amount of AZN 266,200,000, major repair in the amount of AZN 81,200,000, current repair in the amount of 24,800,000, other construction works in the amount of AZN 28,400,000.

On the whole, in the reported period, the private construction companies conducted works in the amount of AZN 272,100,000, and state enterprises in the amount of AZN 128,500,000.
