Sea cargo transport up 31% in Azerbaijan in January

Cargo shipments via sea saw a 30.8-percent increase in January of this year, having stood at 893,000 tons of goods, according to Azerbaijan`s State Statistical Committee.
The major part of the cargo transported, 73.2 percent, was oil products.

Meanwhile, the volume of load/unload operations at the Baku International Sea Transport Port increased by 5.5 percent in January.
