Investments in Azerbaijan’s oil and gas contracts amount to $30 billion: SOCAR head

Investments in Azerbaijan's 27 oil and gas contracts which were signed with foreign companies amounted to $30 billion, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) President Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists on Feb. 27, according to Trend Capital.
"At present 85 percent of Azerbaijan's oil and 70 percent of its gas is produced together with foreign companies," said the head of the SOCAR which formed 30 Joint Ventures (JP) and 6 alliances with foreign companies.
