Azerbaijan's status in Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative confirmed

As is reported, the event is attended by chief executive of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan Shahmar Movsumov. The conference participants confirmed the full status of Azerbaijan in EITI. Thus, Azerbaijan has become first of 25 member-states that got the full status of EITI.

Notably, the conference will end on February 18.

It should be reminded that the third session of the EIRI international board in Oslo (Norway) on September 27 of 2007, 15 countries, including Azerbaijan received the status of a candidate country.
