Monitoring of Gazimagomed-Shirvanovka gas pipeline held for defining expert perspectives in Azerbaijan

Monitoring and inspection of the technical and physical state of the pipeline in the direction of the Russian border were held to define export prospects of the Gazimagomed-Shirvanovka gas pipeline, envisioning gas transportation from the Shah Deniz field.

The process was conducted with participation of the representatives of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, AzeriGaz and BP-Azerbaijan, according to the press service for SOCAR.

The monitoring involved deputy chief of SOCAR department on gas operations Faiq Shiraliyev, head of the group on export operations BP-Azerbaijan Leonid Piven, specialist on pipelines Mehman Azimov, coordinator engineer Nil Berdow and chief of department of head gas pipelines of the Siyazan district of Azerigaz Yashar Huseynov.

Several more inspections are planned to be held in the near future.
