President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will be invited to Saint Petersburg for the 13th Petersburg international economic forum to be held on June 4-6 of this year, report sources from the steering committee of the forum, according to Novosti-Azeraijan.

According to the sources, exact information about the composition of the invited senior state figures of other countries will be made public in early March
This year the forum will discuss the measures on adaptation of the international financial system to new realities, proposed by Rissoa and the G20 states, including reviewing principles of distribution of the world capital, the future of international financial institutions, reform of the banking sector, control over the activity of the rating agencies and coordination of joint efforts to resist the world crisis.
The accreditation for media representatives will start in mid February and last until April.
Thr program of the forum which is under the development will include expert discussions on a wide range of issues - from discussing of modern trends of world economy and the issues of disbalance on the global markets to different specific problems of the Russian economy.
The discussions will be attended by the political leaders from different countries, leading Russian and foreign specialists in the sphere of economy, leaders of biggest world companies.
The official program of the forum will contain presentations, a traditional meeting of the Russian president with leaders of the leading international companies, adoption of investment agreements and a cultural program.
The forum will be organized in cooperation with the forum "Petersburg international economic forum". The Saving Bank of Russia will be the general partner of the forum.
The 12th Petersburg international economic forum was held in Saint Petersburg on June 6-8. The forum was attended by the Azerbaijani delegation led by President Ilham Aliyev.
