Fizuli Alekperov: "If we implement infrastructural projects in regions and villages, definite part of population will return to their native villages"

He said if an Azerbaijani women gives birth to 3,2 children, in Russia a woman accounts for 1.2 children.

The Minister noted that they are planning to implement projects, aimed to modernize the living conditions of the regions of the country.

"Last year we implemented a successful project in Laghich village of Ismayilli. $175,000 was alloted for this project. $100,000 fell on private sector, 75,000 on UN development program.

Through six months 65 people were placed in jobs and a water pipe of 8 kilometers were laid. Moreover, the main streets of the village were reconstruction, the sewerage system extending to 551 meters restored. In the result of work we have done 17 families returned to Lagрich", noted Alekperov.

He said considering the economic activeness of the population a definite part of the Azerbaijani citizens, residing in villages and regions, prefer working in Baku.

"But if we implement infrastructural projects in regions and villages, definite part of population will return to their native villages", said Alekperov.
