Azerbaijan might raise volumes of fuel oil supplies to Ukraine

"Supplies of Azerbaijani fuel oil to Ukraine were held earlier as well though in smaller volumes. However, they may grow now. Talks on this issue are held between the due economic structures of the two countries without involvement of our governments", noted the ambassador.

He said most electric stations and boiler rooms in Ukraine are intended for using two types of fuel- fuel oil/gas and even three - gas/fuel oil/coal.

"At the same time, today energy production with use of fuel oil is cheaper than with use of gas", noted the diplomat.
