Freedom House: "Former Soviet Republics have been making steps behind for decades"

The international NGO Freedom House prepared a report "World freedom" of 2008.
According to Azadlyg radio, by the methodology of the organization, the countries of the world is divided into three categories: free countries, not free countries and partially free countries.

"The details of the report, including the spheres, where situation has worsened in Azerbaijan, will come out tonight. By preliminary information, it is known that the organization considers that the situation in Azerbaijan, Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan and Moldova has worsened. The report says that former USSR countries have being making steps behind through decades", announced the radio.

Azadlyg radio notes that it is the third year that Freedom House attributes Azerbaijan to non-free countries.
