Greek Development Minister: "We should not panic about the gas conflict between Moscow and Kiev, we can appeal to Azerbaijan with a request to raise gas supplies"

Folias noted that one should not panic about the conflict between Moscow and Kiev which has caused suspension in gas supplies to Europe.

"We can appeal to Azerbaijan with a request to raise gas supplies", said the Minister.

Notably, currently Greece purchases Azerbaijani gas via Turkey in the volume of 1 bln cubic meters per year. It is not ruled out that other European countries will also want to raise gas supplies following Greece.
