Italy to import gas from Azerbaijan

Italy intends to import gas from Azerbaijan, said executive director of the Italian energy company Edison SpA Umberto Guadrino, according to AzerTac.
"Italy has gas reserves for another two months. In this connection, the country is less dependent on gas import from Russia, than other European states", noted Guadrino.

He said Italy will further import the needed gas from Azerbaijan, Algeria and Qatar.
