Commodity turnover between Russia and Azerbaijan tops $2 bln

"The commodity turnover between Russia and Azerbaijan has already topped $2 bln this year. This is an important factor which proves the growth of the commodity turnover between the two countries each day, month and year. This shows that there are good relations between the two nations and two countries", said the ambassador.

He noted that unline previous years the migration problems of our compatriots in Russia have receded into the background.

He said complex measures, held by instruction of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, have profoundly changed the state of Azerbaijani migrants in Russia.

At the same time, the diplomat stated that the relations between the embassy and diaspora organizations, functioning in Russia, are not on the due level.

Highly evaluating the activity of the Russian representation of Heydar Aliyev's Foundation, the ambassador noted that the publication of the Baku magazine, led by Azerbaijani President's daughter Leyla Aliyeva, is among the greatest achievements of 2008.
