Azerbaijan extracts 40.9 mln tons of oil and 20.9 bln cubic meters of gas

In January-Azerbaijan Azerbaijan produced 40.9 mln tons of oil and 20.9 bln cubic meters of gas (including, 14.5 bln cubic meters of commodity gas).
Day.Az reports with reference to the State Statistical Committee, on the whole the volume of extractive industry's production topped the date of the same period of the last year by 6.2%. As of October 1 the country had 153.6 thousand tons of oil reserves.

At the same time, a greater part of production fell on AIOC, which produced 33 mln tons of oil and 8 billion cubic meters of gas which is 7.4% and 68.2% higher as compared to the same period of the last year respectively.

Moreover, through 11 months Azerbaijan produced 3,692,000 tons of river stone, small stones and pebble, 619,000 tons of limestone, 1,264,900 tons of building sand, 6,900,000 tons of salt.

In January-October the average monthly salary of the extractive industry employees made AZN 1010.7 which is 19.5% rise as compared to the same period of the past year.
