The Azerbaijan Investment Company received several proposals regarding creation of a joint investment company, similar to the Caspian International Investment Company (CIIC), said AIC chief executive Anar Akhundov.

"We have received a number of proposals from financial institutions, including from Europe, with talks with them being underway", said Akhundov, however, refusing to name the potential partners.
He said today AIC participates in five projects, in which it invested AZN 55 mln and another 6 are on the stage of implementation. "The total amount of investments into the projects is estimated at over 600 mln under the AIC founding capital of AZN 90 mln", noted Akhundov.
