Azerbaijan accounting for 4,300,000 cell phone users

Azerbaijan currently accounts for 4,300,000 cell phone users.

According to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Communication and Informational Technologies, the number of mobile communication users in the country rose almost by 1,000,000 people in 2007, which is a 30% rise. Thus, 50 out of 100 people are cell phone users.

It should be noted that there are 3 GSM-operators in Azerbaijan. These are Azercell Telecom JV, Bakcell and Azerfon.
