Deutsche Bundesbank ex-president admitted to UniBank supervisory board

UniBank general meeting has decided to admit Ernst Welteke as Independent Director to the Supervisory Board.

The former President of Deutsche Bundesbank and a member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank, became an independent member of the Supervisory Board (SB) of Unibank with a voting right.

As of April 1, the bank's assets reached AZN 169,862,380, loan portfolio stood at AZN 102,799,110, deposit portfolio amounted to AZN 92,249,820, aggregate capital AZN 18,845,700 and authorized capital stood at AZN 6,600,000.

Revenue grew 85.18% to AZN 6.2 million and expenditure increased 93.66% to AZN 4.7 million.

Established in 1992, UniBank is owned by the EBRD (15.15%), DEG Investment Corporation (8.3%), legal entities (0.9%) and individuals (75.62%).
