Number of installed water meters in Azerbaijan reaches to 200 000

As at April 1, Azersu OJSC has installed 199 185 water meters in the country, 160 242 of them have been installed in Baku.

Azersu OJSC information and public affairs department told APA-Economics that 196156 meters were installed till January 1, 2007. In comparison with early this year, the number of water meters installed in Baku have increased by 2 267 meters. At present Azersu OJSC has over 400 000 subscribers.

The Azersu OJSC plans to complete this process by the end of 2008.
