Abbas Abbasov appointed AST Group of Companies vice-president

Former First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Abbas Abbasov lives in Moscow at present and leads the Fund of Cooperation and Promotion of Entrepreneurship. He is engaged in large business activity.

Abbasov has been chosen first vice-president of AST Group of Companies, APA reports.

He has also became the member of the Supreme Assembly of the International Union "Brotherhood in Arms Without Borders" led by Boris Gromov.

Abbas Abbasov has been elected member of International Stable Energy Development Center. In his interview to Azertaj State Agency Abbasov said that he supports Russia-Azerbaijan friendship relations and helps Azerbaijanis living in Russia.

"I am happy that I had worked with Heydar Aliyev, and Ilham Aliyev awarded me Independence order. I will be devoted to the Azerbaijan's state principles and serve my country and people," he said.

The International Stable Energy Development Center is operating in the framework of implementation of the memorandum of intent signed on establishing center on education, analysis and exchange of information of Russian Industry and Energy Ministry and UNESCO.

Chief of the management council of the center is Victor Khristenko, Russian Industry and Energy Minister & co-chair of Russia-Azerbaijan interparliamentary economic commission.
