Haji Mammadov's lawyer appeals to Court of Appeals

Today Samad Aliyev, a lawyer for former high ranking official of Azerbaijan's Interior Ministry Crime Investigation Department Haji Mammadov, appealed to Court of Appeals on decision of Court of Grave Crimes, the lawyer told.

The lawyer said he had presented the appeal today, but he did not want to comment on the content of the appeal. Former chief of IM Crime Investigation Department Zakir Nasirov's lawyer Adil Ismayilov and another official Kamil Sadraddinov's lawyer Ogtay Gerekmezli said that their appeals will be ready for next week.

Haji Mammadov, Kamil Sedreddinov and Zakir Nasirov got life sentence by confiscating their properties. Haji Mammadov is accused of 91 Articles of Criminal Code, APA reports.
