Palmali, Krasnoye Sormovo sign 10 tanker agreement

Palmali Group of Company ordered Russia's Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard to build 10 tankers with a deadweight capacity of 7,000 tonnes for shipping chemicals.

Palmali's Head Office based in Istanbul told APA-Economics that under the agreement signed between the companies, the tankers meeting international safety standards will be built within two years.

Russian shipyards have to date built 15 vessels for Palmali, including 7 dry-cargo ships (deadweight-6,970 tonnes), 5 oil barges (deadweight-4,400 tonnes) and 3 dry cargo vessels (deadweight-6,354 tonnes).
